AIMS and Scope

Aims:

Daryaft is a high-quality, double-blind peer-reviewed research journal published bi-annually by the Department of Urdu, National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. Its primary aim is to offer researchers, academicians, and students a reputable platform to share scholarly work and knowledge through well-crafted research papers. The journal focuses on literary research and contemporary critical trends in Urdu language and literature. Daryaft is committed to publishing a broad spectrum of research topics, unified by the pursuit of literary and critical excellence.

Scope:

Daryaft accepts manuscripts, review articles, and commentaries related to all aspects of Urdu language and literature. Submissions encompassing research and critical perspectives on Urdu language, linguistics, and literature are welcomed. However, all manuscripts must be written exclusively in Urdu, as the journal does not entertain submissions in other languages.
