Vision

Daryaft aspires to advance and promote high-quality research in Urdu language and literature. The journal prioritizes publishing original research on classical Urdu texts, manuscripts, and cultural artifacts, alongside modern critical theories, linguistic studies, and rigorous poetry analysis.

Objectives

• To standardize research and critical scholarship in Urdu, particularly within academic institutions.
• To provide a platform for Urdu researchers and scholars—both within Pakistan and internationally—to publish their work in adherence to established guidelines and procedures.
• To support scholars outside academia by accepting well-researched submissions that meet the journal’s quality criteria.
• To strictly follow the rules and regulations established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to maintain academic and ethical standards.
