Advertising Policy

Daryaft accepts advertisements that are relevant to its academic scope and readership.

All advertisements are clearly distinguished from editorial content and are displayed in a manner that ensures they are not perceived as endorsements by the journal, its Editorial Board, or the publisher.

The acceptance, placement, or rejection of advertisements has no influence on editorial decisions, the peer review process, or the publication of manuscripts. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, and the outcome of the peer review process.

The journal reserves the right to decline any advertisement that is misleading, deceptive, offensive, or inconsistent with the academic mission, ethical standards, and policies of the journal.

Editorial Independence

The Editorial Board of Daryaft operates independently of all financial, commercial, and administrative activities. Any revenue generated through subscriptions, publication charges, advertisements, or institutional support does not influence editorial decisions.

The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board retain full authority over the review, acceptance, revision, and publication of manuscripts, ensuring that all decisions are made solely on the basis of academic quality, research integrity, and the recommendations of independent peer reviewers.

Revenue Sources

Daryaft is published with the institutional support of the Department of Urdu, Faculty of Languages and Cultures, National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, Pakistan.

The journal's revenue may be generated through:

  • Article Processing Charges (APCs), where applicable;
  • Journal subscriptions;
  • Institutional support provided by the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, Pakistan; and
  • Revenue from approved advertisements.
